Inside The Global Conservatory
Why TGC

A live conservatory. Not a tutor marketplace.

TGC was built for serious musicians who want conservatory-grade training without giving up where they live, what they sound like, or who they study with. Every lesson is live. Every faculty member is selected for pedagogy as much as performance. Every programme is built around the student in front of us.

1
Live, never recorded.

Every lesson is one-on-one with the faculty member you chose. No video courses, no AI substitutes for the teacher–student relationship.

2
Conservatory-grade, not consumer-grade.

Faculty come from major orchestras, opera houses, conservatories, and tradition-bearing lineages. We hire teachers, not influencers.

3
Every level. Every age. Every tradition.

From early-childhood Suzuki to DMA-track artist development, from Western classical to Indian, Middle Eastern, East Asian, and African traditions.

About The Conservatory
Faculty

Internationally accomplished faculty. Live, every time zone.

Performers, conservatory faculty, scholars, and tradition-bearers — selected for pedagogy as much as for the stages they have stood on.

§ For Young Musicians

A conservatory in their living room.

From age 4 to artist-diploma. Match your child with a faculty member trained in Suzuki, Orff, or Kodály and watch them flourish — at home, with the same standard of training a major conservatory would offer in person.

  • Live, supervised lessons — never recorded.

Every lesson is one-on-one with a real teacher you have met. No video courses, no AI substitutes for the teacher–student relationship.

  • Practice from home — no commute, no logistics.

Your child rehearses in their own room with their own instrument. You stay close enough to listen. We handle the scheduling, the matching, and the safeguarding.

  • Faculty vetted by parents, for parents.

Every instructor is background-checked, pedagogy-tested, and selected for their work with young musicians. Lessons are recorded for parents to review on request.

  • Recitals, youth ensembles, real milestones.

Online recital concerts. Auditioned global youth orchestra and choir. Suzuki and Orff certifications. Pathway to BM/MM/DMA when they are ready.

8 Divisions · Two Launching 2027

A conservatory in ten worlds.

From orchestral training to NextGen AI, from opera to world-music traditions, from health & wellness to pedagogy — and from 2027, ballet and drama under the same roof. Every discipline a performing-arts conservatory should offer, in one home.

How We Compare

A new category. By design.

There are tutor marketplaces. There are physical conservatories. We built a third option: a live conservatory whose campus is the internet — and whose faculty teach from the cities they actually live in.

Frequently Asked

Questions students & partners always ask.

If something is missing here, write to us. We answer every inquiry personally.

How is TGC different from a tutor marketplace?
Tutor marketplaces let anyone sign up to teach. TGC vets every faculty member to conservatory standards: orchestral position, opera-house engagement, conservatory faculty membership, or recognised tradition-bearer lineage. We hire teachers, not influencers — and we pair you with the right one. More on what we are not.
Do I need to audition to begin?
For private lessons and most certificates, no. We start with a 30-minute admissions consultation that matches you to faculty by level, instrument, and goals. Degree tracks (BM, MM, DMA) and elite ensembles do require an audition. Audition guidelines.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by faculty, format (private / group / masterclass), frequency, and programme. We share a transparent, all-in proposal after your consultation. Scholarships and financial aid are available. Scholarship info.
What about my time zone?
Our faculty teach from 14 countries across four continents — every major time zone is covered. We will match you to a faculty member whose schedule aligns naturally with yours, and we never schedule lessons that compromise sleep or routine.
Are TGC certificates recognised? When do degrees launch?
TGC certificates are issued under our institutional brand and are recognised credentials in the music industry. Our BM, MM, and DMA degrees are launching in 2029, issued through our international university partner network with full registrar pathways. Express interest now to be first in line. Degree programmes.
Can my school or organisation partner with TGC?
Yes. We offer four institutional partnership tiers — Explorer, Partner, Premier, and Enterprise — including white-label deployment, co-branded certificates, and fully custom programmes. The founding-partner cohort is open now. Partnership tiers and details.
What happens if my faculty member is unavailable?
Every TGC course is supported by a primary faculty member plus a vetted alternate from the same instrument area and pedagogical lineage. If your faculty becomes unavailable mid-programme, the alternate steps in within one teaching cycle. We notify you proactively and provide bio and audition materials.
What technology do I need?
A laptop or tablet, a stable internet connection, and a microphone good enough for music (most modern devices qualify). We provide guidance on optimal video framing and audio settings during onboarding, and our portal works in your browser — no app required.
§ A Closing Note

A conservatory should not be a place.

It should be the people you study with.

Wherever they are. Wherever you are.
